FAQ's

Why should I do the PG Diploma in Restorative Dentistry?

The PG Diploma in Restorative Dentistry teaches you the theory behind Restorative Dentistry, lets you get confident with your tooth preparation techniques and then provides you with the tools to understand, plan and deliver high quality private Aesthetic Treatments.
The skills you will learn will give you the confidence to perform complex aesthetic tasks, which is a very lucrative niche.
The three components of the course complement each other perfectly. You will taught the theoretical foundations developed over many years in the forms of scientific papers. You will then take the knowledge gained in fundamental areas such as Occlusion to ensure that the Aesthetic treatments you provide do not fail.
The theory that you are taught will fit perfectly when you prep teeth on Phantom Heads.

How much does it cost?
  • $14,500 ins total ($14, 000 for the course plus an additional $500 registration fee)
  • The registration fees is used for registering the delegate with the awarding body. In this case BARD.
  • If you sign-up for the PG Certificate and later towards the end of the PG Certificate, you would have to pay additional registration fees of $500.
What is the benefit of doing PG Diploma and not just to the PG Certificate in Restorative Dentistry.

The PG Diploma in Restorative Dentistry is essentially the best way of getting into the higher end of providing private aesthetic treatment and managing different patient cases confidently. You can choose any options you feel suitable as Tipton Training has a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy which will ensure that your existing education within another Tipton Training course is taken into consideration.
Every time you do a PG Diploma or a PG Certificate you must pay additional registration fees. So, should you choose to register for each course separately, you are paying 4 registrations fees. The flip side is you also get 4 certificates. It all depends on what your ambitions are.

Are there any exams involved?

Yes. BARD delivers exams at the end of every module to test the competence of delegates prior to awarding certificates or diplomas.

Also, expect MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and Case reports. There will be an exam at the end of each module,
